a. Mayor DiMaria said he would like to combine Residents' Comments tonight because he knew
that one resident wished to speak, and this resident had an event going on to which he had to
return. Mayor DiMaria then introduced Father Dennis O'Neill, pastor of St. Martha's.
Father Dennis wanted to thank the Village for its support of the recent special activities of
St. Martha's. On Sunday, November 1s`, Archbishop Cupich said Mass at St. Martha's and
dedicated the parish's new shrine, the Shrine of All Saints. Following the Mass was a luncheon
and an afternoon of culturally -diverse entertainment. Father Dennis said that the parish fed
1,200 people that day! He added that the Village's beautifully -worded proclamation, naming
November 1st as "Archbishop Blase Cupich Day" in Morton Grove, really moved the Archbishop.
Father Dennis thanked the Village for the new signage that was installed, making it easier to
find St. Martha's, and for the excellent traffic control that was provided.
